Polite and very helpful, patience while we tried on cycling clothes

Bought my first bike (since I was a child) yesterday. Piotr at the Canary Wharf branch was really patient and helpful, gave me some really good, practical advice. I'm annoyingly in between sizes so he had the seat posts cut down and sized for me. Half an hour later, I was ready to go.

The service was excellent under the present global circumstances. I felt safe while the professionals worked efficiently on my bike .I left the Clapham high Street branch a very satisfied customer and with a new helmet. I would personally like to thank Mr Andy L. and his teamAs a registered nurse working for the NHS.I appreciate his kindness and that the team were still able to provide a perfect service while being potentially vulnerable. Was thinking of buying a second hand road bike, popped into the store and ended up buying a new bike and some spd's and shoes etc. The sales people were professional and highly knowledgeable and gave me the best info for my needs.

I popped in for an XT BB which they had in the sale, the online stock checker said they still had two. The staff were friendly and helpful, even throwing in a free adapter (as shimano have decided to change the tooling size for fitting). All in all I can’t fault the website, or the shop.

The clapham store really rocks..great bunch of people. Olly was very patient with all my questions. He and the bike mechanic really went out off their way to sort me out with my new mountain bike. Helped me select the right components to upgrade and bling out my bike.Mark the head man is to cool for school. He goes the extra mile to make sure you leave satisfied. I had a terrible time at cycle republic. Went straight to Evan's clapham junction. Was sold a really sweet Norco fluid 2.been treated great. I recently bought a bike from Preston. Unfortunately it turned out to be faulty so I rang the store and spoke to Josh. I must admit I was quite grumpy on the phone as I was disappointed. Josh was very polite and patient throughout and wanted to resolve the issue. I returned the bike that day, as he suggested. He met me in the car park, checked the bike and immediately spotted the problem and took it inside, to the workshop area. He set to, putting it right. After a while he discovered there was a fault and helped me choose an alternative bike. He then ordered the alternative bike plus a direct replacement. He was calming and helpful throughout. His clear aim was to put things right. No quibbling, just straightforward, honest help. Today I went back to choose my replacement, ultimately picking the direct replacement, Trek. Throughout the whole thing, Josh was incredibly patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and helpful. I took up a lot of his time. I cannot remember having such quality service from anyone. He was absolutely superb. I did tell him this as I left but please pass on this message to him, his depot and as high up your management structure as you can. Up until Josh had become involved, I had been feeling unimpressed with Evans, locally. But I now feel I can happily very much recommend Evans and return myself, especially if other staff members could mirror his ability. He definitely deserves recognition. Thank you, Josh.

Dealing with Evans Cycles has been straight forward and insightful. Looking for a new road bike with a £2,000 budget I searched the internet site and was amazed to find a Specialized Sport Tarmac 2019 well within budget due to being last years model (not that it really matters). I attended the store and had a great discussion with the sales assistant who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic (a typical cyclist).Having all the answers to my questions answered I left the store in Birmingham looking forward to the arrival of the bike. On collection day the process was quick and easy and I also came away with a new pair of Fizik shoes...……Within the package is a free service check up after six which will be useful.Looking forward to clocking the miles - Thank you Evans Cycles
