*I got the dress about a day and a half after I ordered, which I was extremely pleased about. *I loved both of the dresses I purchased. Both were in good condition, with the exception of one having wrinkles I cannot get out. Other than that, the dresses are beautiful. *They also sent me a cute headband as a free gift (: Will definitely order from here again.

I have ordered from ModCloth for years. I am never disappointed in the quality of the items I order. I love that the models on the site are of different shapes and sizes with measurements listed. This makes It easy to get the right size ordered. If the fit isn’t right the return process is really easy.

I like their range of products and service. Some of the sizes are off and some photos don't quite look same in person but I have a fair few pieces that I still wear after 3 years!

Expensive for Canadian customers. More expensive prices, and then charged large amounts of duty at the post office when you pick the items up.I spent about $200-250 and was charged $56 duty at the post office when I picked up my package. I could have chosen to pay duty ahead of time through Modcloth (about $45), but I declined because I was convinced it couldn't be more than that for COD. I was mistaken. They need to come up with something better for their Canadian customers, or we'll shop elsewhere.Edit: I should review the products as well. I have been a customer for years, and have purchased many dresses and other items. Some of my favourite items have been purchased through Modcloth. The quality is touch and go, depending on who made the item. You should always use the sizing charts because returns will cost Canadians more money, and if you reorder you're at risk of paying more duty for the replaced item!

Interesting experience. I ordered a dress for my 5 year anniversary dinner and had it express shipped for 2 days. I opened the package and it's a grey used sweatshirt... No receipt, the bag that had the sweatshirt literally has packing tape on it to keep the sweatshirt inside and it smelled like perfume. And the address that was shipped from was from Modcloth Returns?? I immediately call customer service, and the lady who helped me was so apologetic and kind. I think her name was Lana. She was wonderful. She overnighted my dress to get to my anniversary in time! Hopefully, it comes in time!! I feel a little icky and worried about touching it because of COVID. By hoping by sharing my experience, this wont happened again haha. I have a newborn at home so I'm sanitizing my everything just in case...

I found my 10th grade homecoming dress on Modcloth.com. They shipped it fast and in great condition. The website is rather pricy but if you find a good deal on the clothes then it's definitely worth it! There are a few things I would be careful about though. Make sure your item isn't marked "Final Sale". If it is then you can't return it. Also, the colors on the website don't always match the color of the dress when you get it but they are very close. Other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely be buying from them again!

I can admit that I stalk the Modcloth website for a great find on nearly a daily basis, but I rarely find something that is worth the unrewarding experience of being a Modcloth customer. Modcloth is aware that it has a niche market, and they price and service accordingly. In a nutshell, you're either willing to go through their rigamarole to try on that adorable mid-century inspired squirrel print dress or you're not. 1) Returns are a time consuming hassle. As one reviewer points out, their return policy is clearly stated on the website. However, they fail to inform that there is often a 30-day turnaround from the time you drop off your package to the time they receive and process. I once paid my own return shipping in hopes to expedite the process from the normal parcel service. This only confused the process more and in the end, same 30-day turnaround. It's also worth noting that they have a fairly short (30-45 days) return period. 2) Customer care is non-existent. Yes, they provide customer service. The chat service is convenient and quick. However, they fail to provide an actual customer CARE experience. There are no rewards for repeat, loyal customers, and they have been unwilling to provide any extension on promo codes if even due to their own app failures. 20% off is barely a discount in my humble opinion, and if you have a customer ready to throw down $300 it seems in best business interest to accomodate the customer. I will reluctantly continue to peruse Modcloth but over time, I have become much more selective on when to actually make a purchase because of their lack of care. Step it up, Modcloth. Your products aren't cheap - REWARD YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR LOYALTY AND TIME!!

I ordered 12/11 and started getting nervous when a tracking code hadn't popped up after 3 days. So I contacted a customer service through their site and was reassured that my order would arrive before Christmas.I finally got the tracking code today, 12/18 and my items will not arrive til AFTER Christmas. It wouldn't be a big deal if they weren't gifts and they hadn't promised any orders before 12/13 were GUARANTEED to arrive BEFORE Christmas.I am really frustrated because if the company had been honest, I wouldn't have to scramble right now due to a problem that could have been easily avoided.UPDATE: The items did arrive on Christmas Eve surprisingly, so they followed through on their promise. So I adjusted the rating experience, thank you Modcloth for the communication and delivering as promised. And thank goodness the post office was open on Christmas Eve.
