My dad (71), myself (48) and my 10-year-old son had a week-long break at Skegness Butlins during the school holidays in August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Our chalet was fabulous, newly redecorated and with plenty of equipment, although we took the food dining package as I am registered disabled. There was plenty to do during the three full days we had on site and we also took in a visit to the circus, which was brilliant.The resort itself was spotless, the swimming complex was clean and tidy and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

I recently went to Butlins Skegness with my husband disabled daughter my father of 85 and my sister. We stayed in a gold 3 bedroom apartment which was satisfactory apart from painting being done so you couldn't open your patio doors much plus there were flecks of stripped off paint where they were prepping before painting. Also it seemed quite a walk with two wheelchairs from anything going on in the main skyline tent. Plus the jellyfish bar located in the skyline last orders were 21.30 and shut up at 22.00 I've never in my life seen this happen after all you pay enough to stay there. Plus few yes back reds were for family's and centre stage was more of an adult venue, we even got told we could go and order drinks from hotshots bar and take them to the jellyfish bar but who wants to do that. In my opinion it is lacking anything for adults and we went 1st July to 5th July 2019 we have booked to go next year but I am having doubts after a disappointing time this year. Also the food outlets last orders were at 21.00 and closed doors at 22.00.

Butlins Mine HeadWe stayed at the bayside apartments. They were very clean and spacious rooms. Cleaned every day. The positives: Bed was comfortable, bathrooms x2 were good sizes and bright. Well stocked and tv/dvd worked well. Restaurant range was great and the entertainment suited the whole family.The shows were excellent and the range of food available was brilliant. Dine around package was also great as we were able to forget about paying for food and drink.Negatives: No seating for those with ailments I had an injured foot and could not enjoy a few of the shows as I had to queue for ages and then no seats available. More shows should be added to avoid this!Restaurants did not care about timings. The smokehouse left us sitting for 35 min then we found out we were given wrong menu (not dine around) and because we were then late for our show we had to miss it as kids were hungry and went to the fish and chips instead as staff at smokehouse were just standing around chatting. Samexwas the case for the diner. The chip shop offerred the best quality of food and service over all.The fair was great and the indoor pool brilliant. Shame the outdoor pool isn’t heated for the colder days. My kids wanted to go swimming and with the indoor queue going round the corner they opted for the outdoor pool. It was freezing! So basically not worth filling with water as it was unuseable! A few tweaks are needed Butlins! We paid for an all inclusive package for 4 at over £1400 for 4 days and expected a lot more service wise! If you are going to have accommodation during peak periods for say 5000 guests then at least have enough restaurants and entertainment seating too. Also you should include Bline passes for those paying a premium and going all inclusive or for those with ailments/medical disabilities. You will receive more customers than to try and squeeze extra money out of everyone!We were asked at time of booking if we would like a terrace or balcony we opted for balcony preferably top floor we got 1st floor with terrace. Couldn’t see the view much which is what we paid for and neighbours were outside a lot making noise and only plant pots separating the terrace was not ideal. We ended up not using the terrace st all which was a shame!I would go again but not sure I’d go during the summer hols! And only if ticket prices were on offer!

Had a tots weekend break with the great grandchildren,at Minehead,food and entertainment was excellent,lots to do,and a great complex,the staff were so helpful and friendly too,all in all,very pleased.

Went for WWE event it was a great weekend and the guy running the archery think his name was Ross he did a great job will definitely book again

In my own opinion I had a holiday at butlins in skegness for a period of 7 days and nights, everything there was very nice and beautiful, but i was very uncomfortable with the situation i was in, I only came out of the royal brompton hospital in Chelsea London the day before our holiday, I couldn't do anything while I was there as I still had all my stitches in total of 114. I also had a drain tube still in draining excess bad blood, I was in extreme pain so I couldn't do much, the accommodation was very lovely and all of butlins was very good for me to explore as was limited to what I could do, if the Corona virus ends before the end of June this I will experience the butlins holiday centre at bognor regis with my wife and 2 children keeping fingers crossed hopefully it will be a very good experience for us all a d I will put our holiday review up for other families to see. We visited Butlins Skegness this weekend, I've been many times with my partner and two daughters and always had a great family break away, however on this particular visit it was brought to my attention how absolutely caring and genuine their staff are. The resort itself has been modernised over the years and has a great level of cleanliness and service, we stayed in a sliver apartment which was, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a self catering weekend.The range of entertainment from Pantos, funfair, arcades, shows, live performances and swimming is excellent quality and amazing value for money.On this particular visit my 9 year old daughter asked to go on the High Ropes, I was a little uncertain about letting her but she was keen and sounded confident that she could do it. My daughter suffers hugely with Anxiety, which means she is very reserved and unconfident, so in hopes that she builds on these areas I paid the £10 for her to have the experience in hopes that she gains from it.She was smiling when getting in her safety harness but once she got up the top in her group of 8 she froze and couldn't step out onto the High Rope course, I was standing watching from the ground as she shook with fear and tears rolled down her cheeks. Jordan her instructor had a large group but could see that Anneli needed more help and that she was scared. I watched him talk to her, ask her name and calmly give her options about the course, he encouraged her to face her fears and just take the first step forward, which after about 8 minutes of him encouraging her and me shouting up to her that she could do it and that she was safe she finally did. Jordan was running around the course keeping all the kids going and then running back to my daughter to check she was ok and giving her reassurance. After about another ten minutes she kept getting more confident, she was still shaking and looked relieved when she reached all the safe points. She was about half way around the course when Luke took over as her instructor and after about 2 minutes of making himself look silly to cheer her up he had her smiling and really enjoying the experience. She basically had one to one attention from both Luke and Jordan the whole hour+ that she was on the High Ropes! She could not have done it without their help, they were kind, considerate, empathetic, happy employees who went over and above what I had expected.... I paid £10 for this experience and got value for money that I have never experienced before. I'm truly grateful to both Jordan and Luke at the Skegness resort for the excellent experience that they provided. Watching my daughter face her fears made me a very proud mother and they made that happen.I would 100% recommend Butlins at Skegness and also the High Ropes experience.

I asked for a refund 28 days b4 my holiday and 26 days later its in my bank im due to go Monday the 25th im very happy hopefully can rebook after everything has settled :)
