Flight was cancelled and BA are processing a refund. I had mistakenly applied for a voucher instead of a refund. It was a genuine mistake.Fortunately BA is going to reverse this and give us full refund now. This is much needed as we are not working and the money will make a big difference in this difficult times.BA has done the right thing and when we can afford to again we will use them again.

I just called BA to use my Future Travel Voucher and it was a very simple process. I spoke to Andrew at the BA call centre and he was very helpful. It might take a few minutes to get through to them but that is very understandable considering the current situation.Thank you Andrew and BA!

Went Clubworld to JFK, what an amazing experience. The staff were fantastic. 4 stars as there was some old food under the seat!

One of the much better airlines to deal with during the coronavirus. Initially a bit annoyed that they wouldn't let you claim a refund online, but I phoned them up and obtaining a refund was relatively painless. I didn't have to wait that long on the phone. A lovely staff member picked up, great customer service. I told them my flight had been cancelled, they asked for my reference number and put through the refund. Very polite, great customer service, no arguing. I recieved the refund in two days, despite the lady saying it may take up to 14. I usually go for easyjet or godforbid Ryanair because they are cheaper, but after this I will dig out the few extra pounds and go with BA in future. Thanks for being one of the few companies that aren't morally bankrupt, you have really instilled consumer confidence.

Flight delayed, poor meal in the flight. Not very comfortable

The only reason this airline is having three stars is the flight to Turkey was empty and we had three seats each.The flight back was awful and one crew member called Sarah should be reprimanded for her very poor customer service and attitude. Her patronising and demeaning way was awful. She wanted to be thanked for giving my friend a free drink and demanded he did this by shouting in his face. She then proceeded to slag him off in front of all the passengers as we left the plane.I am normally a tolerant person but she was very unprofessional and made our flight home very uncomfortable. BA need to invest in some Customer Service Training.

Well , further to my one star review below I found a way of actually speaking to someone at BA . I was told it would take 45 days for my money to be refunded . I actually got it back 4 days later !Total cost of the refund was £3650 for two flights plus £495car hire so pleased its sorted .

Flown British Airways numerous times, I had a couple of flights cancelled due to Covid and like many of the below complaints tried to call, the team on twitter replied within a reasonable time scale and both flights were refunded promptly. so advice to all if you can get through on the phone try twitter,

Just back from a trip to Las Vegas (my husband and I and our two daughters and their partners). Flight was excellent (apart from an issue with the chiller cabinets which resulted in no second meal, pre landing, service being available which may have resulted in some people going hungry).We had booked our three hotel rooms direct through BA as well. On arrival at hotel (Flamingo) found our three king room, Strip view were not available as booked as the hotel had sold them on to other guests due to our 10.00 pm arrival as this is their policy! We explained that it would have been impossible for us to have checked in earlier as we had come straight to the hotel upon arrival of our flight and that the rooms we had booked and paid for back in November should have been available whatever time we checked in but there was no budging them!We, eventually (second day of trip after much trying to sort out with hotel) got through to BA to a team that are dedicated to helping guests actually on their holiday and I must say the team were fabulous in trying to help us by liaising with the hotel. The members of the BA Duty Office team (Laurent, Rich, Tim and Nicki) were very understanding and put 100% into trying to help us deal with the “computer says no” attitude of the hotel and the BA deserve much credit for their efforts.The same could not be said of the hotel who never supplied the rooms we booked even after much back and forth which ate into a good amount of our precious family trip.

We had a holiday booked with British Airways for the start of May and initially paid a deposit. A few days before the final balance was due we were contacted by B A to say that as the hotel was closing due to the virus our holiday was being cancelled and B A would refund our deposit within a few days.The deposit was credited to our account well within the time scale we were given.I wanted to post this review to show a positive example of B A’s service.
