River Island 20 Off May 2024

I saw a dress at the Whitely Village store but didn't have my size.Asked if any at other stores or warehouse & told NO. Went home & went on line & guess what ? they did still have one. Ordered Weds evening & arrived Sat morning. Guess it's better not to use an assistant !!

Have purchased online from Riverisland on numerous occasions, items always delivered within a couple of days and in perfect condition. 28 days free return policy and never any issues.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Hannah in the Newbury branch. She was so helpful to me and took her time also. That day she made me feel confident and the person I used to be when she helped me to assemble an outfit together and this showed when I got to wear it a few days later. Everything I seem to wear or purchase gets critisised by my partner which has made me lose confidence in choosing clothes. Thank you Hannah so so much you really made a difference to someone”s day with your time patience and enthusiasm to help. Keep doing what your doing and I will be in again for your advice. I bought from River Island for the first time. I live in USA and had to shipped to me by DHL. Thankfully, I could return all the items for free with PayPal because I didn’t like a single thing I received.I never shopped from them before so when I saw the imagery and prices, I thought I was getting substantial quality goods. But the clothes aren’t worth the prices they charge. The quality isn’t terrible but it’s definitely not the same quality I pay for with other brands of similar price range. The sewing and stitching seem fine. I’m more disappointed with the material of the garments. Every piece felt floppy and cheap.Worst of all, if you’re in USA and need to return, your only option is DHL which isn’t common in my area so I have to go out out of my way. To add more nuisance, the label specifically says you have to fold the shipping label in half because the other side is a carrier issue notice that also needs to be included. Now I have to find a place that takes DHL AND provides the “DHL plastic pouch” to affix the paper label folded in half onto the package. Never again.

Good quality clothing! The online size guides are very helpful and more importantly, accurate! The quality of their clothing is very good as well, I have not had an issues with the quality or service. I haven't had to return any items yet so I cannot comment on their returns process.

The clothes are actually lovely and better quality that a lot of highstreet, so I do recommend shopping here just NOT ONLINE. Only shop instore, save yourself the hassle.I ordered two pairs of trousers and then ordered a dress on the 27th December, but never received a confirmation email for either. When the trousers arrived (late) one pair was a size 16 when I ordered a 10. The label said 10 but the tag on the pair said 16, so was a bit annoyed at the hassle of that. The other pair wasn't right for me (lovely though) so I tried to return both to discover I had no way to do so. The online service was completely useless but the staff-instore were really great and refunded me both. I bought the other one in the correct size then. However, the dress I ordered never arrived, never sent a confirmation email but DID charge me. When I contacted RI they said they hadn't charged me, it was just held by the bank and would bounce back after 7 days because my order had failed. My order hadn't failed, and the money didn't bounce back. Then, over a month later, I got an email saying it had been waiting in store for me (didn't order to store, never was notified it was there) and I didn't pick it up so it was returned to the warehouse. I had checked in my store if it was there anyway when I returned the trousers, so no idea what that was about. Anyway, the refund only arrived on March 1st, so roughly another 3 or 4 weeks. I bought the dress anyway in store (not the colour I wanted, hence why I ordered online originally) and am very happy with it despite not being the colour I had wanted before.

I had to ring head office to query a return, my claim was dealt with by Liam, can i just say he went above and beyond, such a pleasant and well mannered young man, can i just say nothing was to much trouble, well done river island for employing staff who can deal with any queries in this manner.

The staff are so lovely in the stores abd couldn’t be more helpful , the one think that’s let’s company down big time is there delivery company Hermes it’s terrible serivce and so bad , phoned customers serivce and still waiting on my gift voucher and only got 6 pounds back on one of my items for next day delivery it’s shocking how can a good quality company like this keep using a bad delivery company .
