Cheap service but rife with network issues in pac-northwest. Network will drop out and the response is 'yeah, there's an outage. It will probably be back up in 24 - 72 hours. Hope you don't mind being without a useful phone for three days while playing for service that doesn't work 'Don't get me wrong. The customer service folks are polite and knowledgeable. But that is where the line is. Good customer service for an inconsistently available networking product.C-. Would buy again if I didn't have other options.

Still Outstanding!!! Okay, updated review, after 3 months of my 8GB, 1 year plan, All is Well! I couldn't be happier with my switch from Verizon. I'm saving tons of money with Mint and the overall cellular experience is better than Verizon. From quality and coverage to customer service EVERYTHING is better at a fraction of the cost. One of the biggest surprises so far is the wifi calling option, It works fantastic!Thanks again Mint!

I wish I had found Mint Mobile long ago because I'm truly loving their service. It's everything I need at an exceptional price. I just returned to California from a trip to Michigan. My phone worked perfectly every step of the way. I couldn't be any happier

I enjoy Mint Mobile a lot! I was on Republic Wireless before, which was nice, but they started having problems. Mint has felt like a small upgrade, having better coverage, same price, and good customer help!

Better than Verizon!

Good service, good data, overall very good plan

Took a month but finally worked out why I apparently had restart continually to be able to use data.Apparently TMobile/Mint has a major issue with Avast VPN.With VPN running I apparently cannot access data. Could not understand why my unlimited service in first month showed 2gb data and wifi data 35gb.Continually getting cannot post when offline warnings.Finally stopped VPN auto start and now is working fine.Might be nice if TMobile fixed whatever issue they have with Avast Secure Line VPN.Previous carrier was straight talk/at&t and there were no problems.

I really like Mint Mobile so far. I have only had it for 2 months, but when my trial is up, I plan on purchasing the 12-month plan unlimited. It will cost around $340.00 for a year of unlimited! That's pretty good! Ryan selling it in his simple way is nice, and he keeps it that way. I do wish I'd known prior to starting the trial that if I bought a phone and bought the service at the same time, I could have gotten my service half off for the entire year. Not bad. Might get the phone elsewhere, but LOVE everything so far.

Update, Mint phone reps spent a long time talking with us. Some of the reps were more expert than others. My husband and I both had bought Samsung Galaxy S7+ tablets, and we expected to be able to use the internet with phone data, as promised in Samsung ads. We live in a rural area with fewer cell phone towers, and this turned out to be the basic issue of why we never could get the S7+ tablets to work with phone data. Mint is a secondary carrier, they rent from T -Mobile. We were finally able to use phone data with our tablets when we switched to T-Mobile. I am switching my Mint Sim card from my tablet to my phone, good thing I can use it for something I needed anyway, because I paid 6 months ahead and I wouldn't have gotten a refund. I am still giving these people 4 stars. We have never had any issues with using Mint with our cell phones.Earlier review: Good service at a good price. I had some problems due to customer error (mine). I wouldn't suggest switching to Mint if you are tech challenged and/or have complications with regard to switching. I steered an elderly friend away from Mint, but I would say yes, try this, if you are younger and familiar with tech, or your situation is simple (e.g., you don't need to carry over previous phone number). Me, I forgot PIN to my old service, also I was learning how to understand and use a new tablet, so it took a long time to get everything straightened out and working.
